QHSE (Quality Health Safety & Environment) at Ocean Marine Solutions Limited is focused on developing and deploying a proactive health and safety culture, not only for our own employees, but also for our clients and sub-contractors. Therefore, a primary thrust of our global standard is maintaining a first-class safety culture and creating continuous improvements in our health and safety standards, practices and policies.
The company is fully committed to achieving zero injuries, work-related ill health and hazardous occurrences. We are committed to achieving goal zero on “different jobs, one rule” in line with the IOGP, 9 Life Saving Rules per IOCs requirements, and in stern compliance to adequate Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) together with our active Quality Management System (QMS) practices in place.
We are also fully committed to ensuring that the company's QHSE day-to-day activities, resources and information are in line with the IMO: SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, CLASSIFIACTION SOCIETY, OVID-OCIMF, P & I Club and FLAG rule requirements and standards; among others.
Our audit practices are top-notch, comprising of ISO-IMS (QMS+OHS) and ISM Code, with all personnel in sync with its requirements, with certified QHSE representatives.
In keeping with our core values, we carry out our operations in such a way as not to compromise at any point and to ensure safety at sea, prevention of human injury or loss of life and avoidance of damage to the environment (in particular to the marine environment as well as properties.
We are fully devoted to ensuring that the company has adequate resources, information and training to ensure that its workforce can deliver the aim of continuous improvements at all times. We implement a regular safety audit. The findings are processed, developed and conveyed to the company workforce and reviewed on a regular basis with any proposals for continuous improvement of the standard required.
