The Board and Management of OMS group of companies consists of the following seasoned professionals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields:

Capt. (Dr) Idahosa Wells Okunbo, a retired Commercial Pilot and a business magnate, with a business profile spanning over 30 years. At the age of 21, he graduated from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Centre, Zaria as a professional Commercial Pilot

He established Hoslyn Ventures Limited, a company focused on procurement in the Oil and Gas sector and, since then, his business interests have grown in leaps and bounds. Owing to the restiveness in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, Captain Okunbo set up Ocean Marine Security Limited, a pioneer Marine Security company responsible for offshore asset protection for major oil companies in Nigeria.

He is also the Chairman of the following companies

  • PPP Fluid Mechanics Limited, a crude oil logistics company
  • OMS Tankers Ltd, owners of the first indigenous marine tankers in Nigeria;
  • Westminster Security Solutions Limited, a franchise of Westminster Group Plc UK.

In 1997, as part of his contribution to Nigeria’s electoral process, Capt. Okunbo was the leader of a business team that nurtured the idea that led to the introduction of transparent ballot boxes for use in Nigeria’s elections. He also participated in numerous national and international fora as a resource person and has been honoured by different organisations and institutions. In 2007, this distinguished gentleman was honoured with the Justice of the Peace (JP) in recognition of his astounding contributions to the promotion of peace and good governance as well as development of his constituency. An Honorary Doctorate Degree was conferred upon him by the prestigious University of Benin for his contribution and benevolence to humanity as well as his achievements as an entrepreneur.

Captain (Dr) Idahosa Wells Okunbo, affectionately known as “Captain Hosa”, is an accomplished businessman, philanthropist and a source of inspiration for the Nigerian youth. He is a man of integrity, hard-work, equity and fair play and, of course, an unrepentant believer in the rule of law. This great protector of human values is happily married and blessed with children.

Rear Admiral AOA Ikioda is a graduate of the Nigerian Military School, Zaria and the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering honours degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
As part of his demonstrable academic brilliance, Rear Admiral Ameen Ikioda was selected into the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna as a member of the 25th Regular Combatant Course where he graduated as a Naval Cadet, and was subsequently commissioned into the Nigerian Navy on 1 August 1982.

Since joining the Nigerian Navy, he has attended many courses within and outside Nigeria, some of which include: Sub-Lieutenant Technical Course in India, Junior Staff Course - Jaji, Officers’ Long Course (NNS QUORRA), Senior Staff Course – Jaji, Comparative Staff Course in Pakistan and the Senior Executive Course (SEC) 27, of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru - Jos.

Rear Admiral Ameen Ikioda (Rtd.) has amongst other executive  appointments, held several command and staff appointments, some of which are WKO NNS BRASS, Staff Officer Grade 3 Signal Formation Unit, Staff Officer Grade 3 ECOMOG SIG GP 2 (Liberia), Chief Instructor Communication School NNS QUORRA, Officer In-charge Communication School NNS QUORRA, Executive Officer NNS ENYIMIRI, Staff Officer Grade 2 Officers NHQ, Staff Officer Grade 2 Operations NHQ, Directing Staff CSC Jaji, Staff Officer Grade 1 Communications NHQ and Commanding Officer NNS AGU.

Others positions of distinction held are Executive Officer NNS OKEMINI (Now NNS PATHFINDER), Chief Instructor Naval Wing NDA Kaduna, Chief Instructor Junior Course AFCSC Jaji, Chief Instructor Senior Course AFCSC Jaji, Deputy Commander Naval Logistics Corps Sapele, Director Plans NHQ, Commanding Officer NNS BEECROFT, Chief Staff Officer, Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Director of Operations NHQ, Director of Logistics DIA, Chief of Logistics NHQ and Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command.

Rear Admiral Ikioda (Rtd.) has also served as a Resource Telecoms Engineer to NITEL Probe Panel in year 2000 and as a Directing Staff at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in 2013. He was also the Chief of Policy and Plans at the Nigerian Naval Headquarters, Abuja. Until his retirement, he was the Chief of Administration at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja.

He is happily married with children and enjoys reading, playing Golf and listening to music.

Dr. Olatunde Ayeni is a Lawyer and an astute business man with vast interests across various industry segments, including banking and finance, electricity distribution, marine security, real estate development and construction, aviation and oil and gas. He gained his LL.B degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and commenced his professional career as a Lawyer with the firm of Professor A. A. Adesanya & Co. He served as Legal Adviser and Company Secretary to Rodco Group of Companies after which, in 1994, he established his own law firm, Olatunde Ayeni & Co, which was later renamed LEGAL RESOURCES ALLIANCE.
Dr. Ayeni is a member of several professional associations including Nigerian Bar Association, Africa Bar Association, International Bar Association, Institute of Directors of Nigeria and other prestigious domestic and International Associations.
He holds the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of several companies, including Skye Bank Plc, Aso Savings & Loans Plc, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc, Yola Electricity Distribution Company Plc, Olutoyl Estate Development & Services Limited, and MAWE Services Limited. He is also the Vice Chairman of Ocean Marine Security Limited, PPP Fluid Mechanics Limited, Ocean Marine Tankers Limited, and Integrated Energy Distribution and Marketing Limited.
An avowed philanthropist, Dr. Ayeni has positively impacted the lives of several indigent citizens of Nigeria. In recognition of his contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy, Nigeria’s Achievers University awarded Olatunde Ayeni the honorary degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Business Administration.
In September 2014, he was made Fellow by the Institute of Directors, Nigeria and in recognition of his significant contributions to humanity, he was honoured with the National Award of “Commander of the Order of the Niger” (CON) by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He has also received the “Business Person of the Year 2013” Award from the Leadership Newspapers Group for playing a major role in the ongoing privatization of the Nigerian power sector.

Mr. Garth Dooley began his working career as a mining engineer having graduated from Ware College, Hertfordshire, England. Years later, he was contracted by the first Executive Governor of Edo State in 1991 as a consultant in Urban Planning and Construction. He has worked in Nigeria for the past 20 years.
Mr. Dooley served as the Technical Director of the Madonna Organization where he planned, coordinated and successfully completed the airport upgrade for Chevron Texaco. He also served as a consultant to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and has been involved in a number of successful projects in the Niger Delta region.
He is one of the founders of Ocean Marine Security Ltd and, as the first Managing Director, oversaw its rapid growth. Mr. Dooley is also a Director of several other companies, including PPP Fluid Mechanics Limited, Ocean Marine Tankers Limited, Integrated Energy Distribution and Marketing Limited, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc and Yola Electricity Distribution Company Plc.

An accomplished Chartered Accountant and Organizational Scholar, Dr. Olasehinde started his career as a Lecturer in Accounting and Taxation at the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State, Nigeria and acquired professional practice experience with Ernst & Young, a Global Assurance and Advisory firm. He has over 30 years of professional work experience across several industry segments, including Banking, Life Insurance, Aviation, Academics, Audit & Consulting Practice, Oil & Gas, Electric Power Distribution, Maritime Security, Land Transportation, and Transit Management.
Prior to his current appointment as Group CFO at Ocean Marine Security (OMS) Group, he held top management positions in a wide range of functions, including Audit Senior at Ernst & Young, Senior Manager, Treasury & Investments at Lead Merchant Bank; General Manager, Financial Planning, Risk Management & Controls at Skye Bank; Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Bellview Airlines; Senior Consultant, Audit & Risk Management at Manulife Financial Corporation, and Canadian Region Audit Manager at FirstGroup America.
Dr. Olasehinde was educated at California Coast University, Santa Ana, United States of America; University of Lagos, Akoka; and University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA); Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Finance; Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Accountancy; and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree. He has also attended Executive Management Development Programs in leading institutions across the world, including the “Senior Management Program” of the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University and the “Compete to Win Leadership Program” of the Schulich School of Business, York University, Ontario, Canada.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA, State of Michigan) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) of the United States of America, Dr. Olasehinde is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
His areas of expertise include Corporate Law, Accounting Standards Development, Financial Modelling & Quantitative Analysis, Budgeting & Strategic Planning, Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Organizational Development, and Business Process Architecture.

Andrew is a former British military officer with an exemplary service in the British Army with nine years SSC service. Some of his key appointments included: Motor Transport Officer (MTO – Supply Chain & Logistics) at 24 Air Mobile Brigade, Officer in Charge AYT & RIT (HR & Training). During his military career, Andrew was a recipient of two commendation awards for bravery before leaving with the rank of Captain.

Andrew was employed as the General Manager, Security Operations joining OMS February 2009. During the companies mid 2015 restructure Andrew was appointed as the General Manager, Supply Chain and in 2016 with the economic down turn Andrew’s focus was channeled to Business Development.

As a Strategic Risk and Logistics management specialist, Andrew has worked internationally on several security operations projects in hostile environments. Raised in Nigeria & UK, graduated from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and recently with a MA in Maritime Security from Coventry University UK, 2016. Andrew served in the British Army and followed into risk management consultancy with Control Risks Group in Iraq and Nigeria.

Andrew attended numerous military and professional courses, and worked in various capacities. Prior to OMS he excelled as the Operations Manager for Control Risks in the Niger Delta and offshore, growing the business and intelligence network. Control Risks is an independent, global risk consultancy specialising in political, integrity and security risk. Helping some of the most influential organisations in the world to understand and manage the risks and opportunities of operating in complex or hostile environments. During this period Andrew consulted for several global FSTE 100 companies including Parsons Construction, Total EPNL, Statoil.

He has an extensive knowledge and is well versed in West African/Nigerian and International affairs, particularly those pertaining Supply Chain, Security Operations and Business with an excellent contact network within the industry.

Andrew brings to OMS 25+ years’ experience, with strong management, leadership and mentoring skills, attention to detail supported with an extended wealth of working and operating in Nigeria.

Eseosa holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Wales, UK, a first degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Social Development and Administration both from the University of Lagos.

She possesses over 10 years multivariate HR experience in attraction and recruitment, business partnering, employee engagement, organizational culture audit, change management, process review, performance management, business development and HR Advisor services. Over the years, she has gained substantial multi-industry experience ranging from the capital market, construction, aviation, hospitality and telecommunications industries, both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She previously held HR Managerial positions in Afrijet Airlines and MTN Nigeria.

Having interacted with industry professionals from different cultural and racial backgrounds, Eseosa has been able to develop a global mindset and diverse cultural sensitivity, which are both critical competencies for a truly global HR Professional. Her work experience has also afforded her the opportunity of managing stakeholder expectations from a vast client base. She brings to the organization immense management skills, analytical thinking, business acumen and a wealth of HR experience.

Chuma is a professional Engineering Management Executive with a distinguished military career in the Nigerian Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, post graduate diploma in Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Specialist studies in Weapons/Controls Engineering from the Royal Naval Engineering College, Manadon, Plymouth in the United Kingdom and Master’s Degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from the National Defense University, Islamabad, Pakistan.

In his over 28 years of military service, Commodore Chuma attended numerous military and professional courses, and worked in various capacities afloat and ashore. At different times, he held the position of Weapons/Electrical Engineer on-board warships, Instructor at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, Chief Fleet Maintenance Officer at the Naval Logistics Command Headquarters, General Manager Planning at the Nigerian Naval Dockyard, Lagos before becoming the Director of Weapons Engineering at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja.

In recognition of his service to the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Chuma was decorated with the following medals: National Defense Course (NDC), Distinguished Service Star (DSS), Meritorious Service Star (MSS) and Force Service Star (FSS).


Laura is a well-qualified HSE Management Leader with 10 years extensive experience in the development and execution of HSE systems, processes and programs that have significantly improved safety, productivity and environmental quality whilst reducing operating costs for Fortune 500 companies. Over the years, she has gained substantial certifications and was responsible for globally implementing and integrating HSE policies, procedures and training matrix development. She exudes Strong technical and analytical qualifications with outstanding communication, training, and teambuilding skills.
A graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and certifications in: OSHA 29 CFR 1910 certified training instructor, PEC Safeland/ SafeGulf training, First Aid/CPR certified, Root cause analysis certified, Emergency Response Management, HAZOPER certification, Process Safety Management.
Her previous employment was with Exterran Energy Solutions, in Houston, TX. Exterran is a global market leader in full service natural gas compression and premier provider of sales, operations, maintenance, fabrication, service and equipment for oil and gas production, processing and treating applications.

M.I. Swaco (A Schlumberger Company) Midstream energy company and world’s hydrocarbon exploration and production industry, where she conducted Quality Assurance checks and liased with external consultants and management to ensure the effectiveness of HSE guidelines, standards and procedures. She also gained experience with Conestoga-Rovers and Associates (CRA) which provides Worldwide Engineering, Environmental Consulting, Construction and Information Technology Solutions.
